Give up Self pity / Self-Victimisation - You are the Creator of your own story. Don’t make yourself a victim in it. Instead, rise above it and take the reins back with loving self respect. For this is not to minimise past experience, but to not let it define you either (minimise your true worth). But to learn to master your own mind and emotions so that others won’t be able to.

Understanding and accepting that the only constant in life is change, enables us to embrace it. Because change will keep knocking until we open the door - willing or unwilling!.. Time = Change! Both are inevitable! The pain we feel in life is due to our own resistance to change. Resisting the constantly powerful flow of life, means to invite complications. If we don’t choose to embrace change, we default to suffering through change (the catapult effect) a by-product of not accepting responsibility for our own choices and decision-making

Don’t give anger a platform for it betrays us at the first chance - leaving us to shrink in our core - meanwhile the door is left ajar for more anger to sneak in. Recognising our own triggers stops dead any ‘influencer’ who attempts to undermine our power, it teaches us how to live inside out (soul conscious) because unconditional love is internal and eternal. Soul consciousness is joy - it’s the feeling of inner fullness - the true meaning of contentment!

When we ignore the ‘writing on the wall’ we tell ourselves that we are not worth it. Worse still, we tell others that we are not worth it… But we are worth it

All my life, others have had a problem with me being different and continually try to squash my enthusiasm - and for years I blamed myself. I’ve been called a rebel, a nut, a looney, a dreamer, a trouble maker, a hippie, a space-cadet (beside all the racist slurs that kept me firmly chained in my box). I’ve been called paranoid, crazy, staunch, harsh, unrealistic and ‘too’ sensitive. And for many years I believed them - all these people can’t be wrong, it must be me, I’m the problem!

Did you know that to understand and to accept, that calm is a choice and that stress is a choice, can be just one wonderful way of taking back your power? One of the most important decisions we can make in our life is to choose our responses to stress, or anger, or anxiety… We live in the midst of a stress epidemic (it’s called the ‘silent killer’ for a reason) and nothing highlights this more than the lead-up to Christmas. Stress not only reduces kindness and productivity, since we can’t function effectively under duress, but it also impacts our clarity and judgement (people do some questionable things when stressed) then justify it to the hilt.
