Power to Tolerate (Revision)
Hi EveryOne,
Power to Tolerate is our third Master Power to practice and revise. Another one of those beautiful inner strengths that has a load on it because it’s rarely seen for it’s true empowering effect. I’ve long noticed a theme when it comes to innate qualities and the problem so many have with the word ‘power’ – due to all the unbelievable lies we have been fed most of our lives. And though I’m a little reluctant to use the term conspiracy, nevertheless the more I educate myself and ‘revise life’ the more I see a definitive conspiring pattern that keeps the general population thinking small… Imagine if everyone was master of their own power (what a wonderful world this would be) but of what use would governments etc be?… This uneven distribution of instilling fear in the masses while underplaying our true potential (belonging only to the elite), leads us to believe that we have no power – and that the ones who do, abuse it… But that’s NOT power! That’s abuse of power! And sure, we can ‘justifiably’ stay a victim and continue pointing the finger of blame but that makes us no better. Blaming simply enables (gives power) while not being true to our essence is to disable or disempower. True power starts within 🙂
Anyway, I certainly don’t wish to make this a political topic. I’m just grateful for having awakened to the silent mind conditioning that’s happened throughout history and will continue to happen – that’s life. I’m therefore so grateful for having found my inner treasure store of virtue and power, and the awareness that no-one can take away my power, without my permission. One of our conditioning is to make us believe that our amazingly powerful virtues are so far out of our reach that only saints could claim them. Or worse, that they’re nothing more than a weakness (not a strength) making us feel trapped and weak. But knowing now about my inner power and the rightful ownership we each have to that power (providing we individually tap into that power) – I feel like a bird let out of her cage 🙂 How about you?

Tips:
1. To tolerate is not putting up with stuff – that’s just putting up with stuff. It’s not about ‘enduring’ that’s just another word for putting up with it.
2. To tolerate means knowing and accepting what I can and cannot control or change (I cannot control or change other people’s behaviour, views, beliefs etc. But I can control or change how I respond to them).
3. Tolerance is a strength. It is NOT a weakness!
Questions to churn:
1. Do I put up with stuff?
2. Do I judge other cultures, beliefs, opinions, ideas etc? Do I question them rather than try to understand them?
3. How tolerant am I really?
I love this power, it really makes us think about what it really means to tolerate – as opposed to what we’ve been taught about it. It really makes us look in the mirror of our own heart to understand it spiritually not just intellectually 🙂
Happy practicing everyone. I look forward to hearing your stories. Remember – everyone has a story to tell 🙂
Lots of love Annemarie
