Power to Tolerate – part 2…

Hi everyone,

With 2013 under way, I hope your Power to Tolerate is helping you keep a powerful and creative momentum. Tolerance can bring so much abundance when we learn to truly work with this Power – to see it as a gift rather than a burden. When we hear the word ‘Tolerance’ one often cringes due to the connotations, limitations and ‘responsibilities’ placed on this amazing Power. Yet the more I apply and understand my individual Powers the more I realise how much my past teachings were convoluted, fragmented and blindly handed down – sending me on a never-ending quest for ‘the truth’. This of course is not to blame anyone – everything is accurate in the world drama, we all do our best with what we ‘know’ at the time. This is to remind myself of all the distortions and beliefs formed over the years, so to not beat myself up when I don’t manage change ‘instantly’. It takes a long time to be conditioned and to create habits – so too, it takes time to conquer and change them.

I may have a strong wish to change, but my Will has become weak through lack of exercise. To make any permanent change, I must Tolerate my own weaknesses and past mistakes. Self change with gentleness and love is absolutely necessary because in a sense, the world has been up-side-down and it takes time and consistent effort to turn it the right-way-up, while transforming any weakness into strengths… Often the Powers we dislike the most, turn out to be our strongest tools – if only we trusted ourselves enough and gave ourselves permission to use and strengthen them.

Questions to churn on today:

— When things get tough, how do you to Tolerate a situation or person? What strategies do you have in place to remain calm and supportive – to yourself and others?…

— Is it easy to Tolerate or is it difficult?…

— Why might you get frustrated or angry and how can Tolerance help?…

As Nature heats up and we face global warming, it helps to be aware of what I can do as an individual – to be pro-active rather than re-active – to be part of solutions not part of creating problems. By remaining Tolerant in all situations I can keep calm and cool, which in times to come, will be highly valued and needed.

Enjoy your week, keep cool, keep calm and keep smiling – see you next week, love Annemarie 🙂
