Hi everyone, wow how fast time is moving, creeping towards the end of our 5th Power – Discernment. A little late this week, have spent some lovely days with my son 🙂

I know many of us have had to look closely at this one – it’s one of those amazing powers that takes a little bit to understand, but well worth the effort to get to know 🙂

a little more on discernment – about discerning others and situations. It is when I have difficulty discerning myself – my own motives and intentions – that I have difficulty discerning anything else. I can dress up my own inconsistencies and dishonesty with a pretty bow, but it will still be inconsistency and dishonesty. Getting real with myself (not beat myself up) enables me to remain truthful in all my inner dealings – my outer dealings will automatically be clear. Whether I blame myself or others, it’s still blame and it’s a waste of precious time.

We all seem to have experienced some aha moments regarding self deception – congratulations – it takes much courage to look at that stuff… Well Done! Here’s this fortnights contributions – thank you once again for YOURS – it’s always good to know ‘I’m not alone’ 🙂

– Sincere, open, trustworthy, truthful, honet
– Do as I say – walk the talk (no false promises to self and others).
– No need to impress or follow others
– Many grew up in similar era – brave exterior face – finding much power in understanding self deception. (Some experienced added masks with alcoholic influence)
– Awareness of playing role of doormat – (very empowering)
– Attracted many complicated relationships throughout life
– Lost themselves against own wish – didn’t feel power as child to do anything.
– Catching self blaming – self and others – (great self awareness)
– Going back to prayer / meditation / spirituality – (very inspirational to hear)
– Making changes for self
– Being role models for their children / transforming negative cycles into positive ones 🙂
– Habit of not living truth / fear of power / feeling bad / guilt — Guilt is such a waste of energy, we must let it go each time it rises up. This is to Discern between old limiting behavior and new unlimiting behavior… Which would you prefer to entertain?!…

Here’s to another wonderful fortnight – see you all on Monday.
Happy weekend. Much love Annemarie
