Letting go of the old – to let in the new

Hi EveryOne,

Wow, here we are at the end of another year. How fast time appears to be moving – better we flow with change the best we can. I’ve been a bit quiet of late because I gave myself permission to spend time in silence to recharge and reset myself – as a means to stay full and keep on giving. I hope you’re giving yourself time too. Lets not create any regrets that we would carry from the past, for it will taint the present and sabotage the future… You know, we all have the capacity for greatness but we must let go of what we can’t control – including the past. The past is done and time does not stand still – so letting go of the old to let in the new is a rather important and wonderful – and indeed a powerful practice.

  • Changes!… Col and I recently purchased a 5 acre bush block in Dallarnil (30 k’s West of Childers). Always being open to change – this opportunity came along and we decided to catch it…  We plan to move onto the block in the next couple of months and are in the process of downsizing again.  So I will be practicing flexibility, detachment (and more silence).  And since I can’t plan too far ahead regarding classes and programs – I will be sure to keep you all in the loop – so please stay tuned…

6 Things to practice – to help you let go of the old to let in the new

  1. Change is inevitable – suffering is optional. So don’t resist change, learn to embrace it – be open and you will receive help. And watch the opportunities flow in.
  2. Don’t force change on others…“BE the change” you want to see in the world.
  3. Do the best you can… Learn from your mistakes and grow from the experience to help you transform – and you will automatically do better.
  4. The process of letting go may feel awkward, even painful. But the space it creates automatically invites new, better opportunities. So pay attention. Catch them. Then act on them 🙂
  5. When you look inward letting go becomes possible – for therein lies the strength to surrender.
  6. Never stop dreaming – it exercises your imagination and strengthens your creative flow.

In 2021 – May you find your peace… May you find your joy… May you shine your light

Here’s to happier days, Love always, Annemarie x
