What do you do when you ‘fall down’ in life. Do you get angry, upset, blame others or quit? Or do you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep going?
Faith is not about blindly following others – on the contrary. Taking on any new project knowing that victory is guaranteed, is Faith. If I take on a new project with a ‘we’ll see’ attitude, my result will be average or maybe even poor. However, if I start a new journey with absolute trust that I cannot fail – then success is automatic? There is benefit in everything, even if it’s just to learn a great lesson in life.
Sometimes we see ‘failure’ as not ‘achieving my outcome’, but if I work out my purpose; write an action plan to reach it; take small daily steps towards my destination; while remaining flexible to enjoy the scenery along the way – I’m already a success. Reaching my goals is just cream and cherries. If I don’t see life this way, I may miss many opportunities to bring joy to myself and others – simply because I become afraid to even try.
So no matter what – Faith gives Determination to keep going – just pick yourself up and dust yourself off. Don’t focus on where you fell but recognise where you tripped, change actions if necessary and keep going. How else would children learn to crawl … walk … run …
So if you fall down 10 times get up 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 times – and congratulate yourself every single time 🙂
