Hi everyone,

An interesting week so far. Among other things, I’ve received some emails saying Silence is too hard, but yet it’s been the most ‘silent’ of the ‘power weeks’. How are you all going out there?… Remember to connect whenever you need, especially if you feel stuck or don’t understand something. I also love to hear about any successes – big and small 🙂

Silence is one of those powers that takes persistence, living amongst ever-increasing noise levels – inner and outer – it’s not surprising. Sometimes we feel that the only way we get heard, is to raise our voice or give the ‘silent treatment’ – not very empowering is it. Do yourself a favor though don’t turn your back on it – the gift of true silence is priceless – and one power we’re going to need in times to come. Silence is a very humble power, it doesn’t need to be noisy to prove anything – it doesn’t need to stand out – yet when called upon will keep me safe in many situations. It doesn’t mean for me to keep quiet at times when I must use my voice, it means to know when to speak and when to be silent – when to do and when to be. Then every action will be powerful, because in silence I listen to my intellect combined with my spiritual heart

My experience this week with Silence –
At times when my body is in a rheumatic ‘flare’ it can be very uncomfortable and it can knock me about for days – either from pain, from fatigue or both. With the current heat and humidity in Townsville, the flares have been quite regular (humidity has similar affect as cold damp weather on my body – so I’m finding out 🙂 To make matters more uncomfortable, my skin has broken out in psoriasis. It’s really made me stop and pay attention to my lessons and Silence has been my best friend. At times all I could do was to practice being Silent and focus on my breathing, or else I probably would have cried and scratched my skin off (I had to practice my Powers to be Silent, to Withdraw and to Pack Up simultaneously at times). All I know is this – without medication – focusing on and continuously strengthening my inner powers, helps me take my mind of any discomfort enabling me to conquer anything… Of course placing my hands in cold icy water helps too 🙂

Questions to churn on today:

— In what situations would Silence be helpful?…
– Silence helps me in the above situation every time; In situations when speaking can trigger a negative, angry or even violent response in another; When I need to clear my mind; Silent Power (Soul Consciousness) also really helps in those awkward silent moments which stem from body consciousness 🙂

— Have I allowed myself time to be Silent this week?…
– Yes, as mentioned above and also at times when I wanted to complain (when we are fatigued or weak from pain, complaining becomes easy) – Power of Silence really helps because the more you complain, the worse it gets; At times when I wanted to cry, peaceful Silence was there

— If not, why not?… (If you must answer this question – don’t rationalise anything, but be very gentle and loving to yourself – if you begin to beat yourself up, that’s a perfect time to practice this wonderful Power)… After all, we are all Learners 🙂

Have a wonderful day and may you experience the true bliss of silence, Much love Annemarie
