Power to Pack Up…
Power Pack Up

Hi everyone,

Welcome to our next Power, again I couldn’t help but smile upon drawing this power. It’s another one of our 8 Master Powers – one that was rather weak in me when I first wrote Will to Wonder – and has since become one of my favorite powers. The more I put this power into practice the more I see positive results in my life. This power (when applied) helps you transcend and transform old ‘stuff’ because it’s such a practical action to take and you often see instant success 🙂

Our 14th Power is the 2nd Jewel – Power to Pack Up – page 21….

‘To ‘Pack Up’ we need to use our might,
ridding us of any ‘excess baggage’ fight.
Remaining easy for traveling light
and keeping clear, our peripheral sight
frees our wings to take our flight.’

The ability to pack up any wasteful, negative or limiting thoughts and letting it go. By applying a firm brake, I am able to control and direct my thoughts – a major step towards becoming Master of my mind and my life. For this I need discipline and self control – meditation helps in this.

I am the backpack… I do not carry excess baggage and am able to travel light 🙂

Supporting Virtues: Discipline, Determination, Self Respect, Positive, Light, Forgiving

Tips:
1. Using ‘traffic control’ (stopping 60secs each hour) and whenever necessary, helps to pack up any rubbish in the mind.
2. Pay attention and regularly bring yourself back to the present moment. Allowing the mind to wander aimlessly or constantly worrying/regretting is disempowering.
3. Using visualisation techniques helps remove unwanted ‘stuff‘ from your mind

Questions to churn:
1. Do I hang on to stuff that is wasteful, negative, limiting, destructive?
2. Why do I hang on to this stuff, knowing it’s bad for my health and well-being?
3. Why do I battle with letting go and forgiving – myself and others?

To Pack Up means to be able to let go of anything from the past (even 5 minutes ago) – to not carry the wasteful emotions that are attached to that person or situation. It means to be able to forgive myself and forgive others – what would be the alternative?… It would mean to keep hurting and therefore base my present and future actions on this pain.

Anyone that struggled with our last power – Power to Judge – will definitely benefit from practicing this power. It will not only make accurate ‘judging’ easier, you will ‘travel’ lighter and so be happier for no apparent reason.

Happy practicing everyone, look forward to hearing your stories – Lots of love Annemarie xx
