Hi EveryOne,

BKYogiLotus

Wow, I just love the Power I drew this morning, I hope you will enjoy it as much as me. For some this may bring some challenges but one thing for sure, working on this Power gives us a good insight into our own progress. Many think this is outside their scope but once they tap in and reach that space, they will realise just how doable this Power is and how accommodating it can be for everyone! It aligns so many wonderful things just by flipping a simple internal switch 🙂

Our 43rd Power – Power to be Mindful…

** The Power to be Mindful is the ability to live consciously and aware. To be able to ‘feel the pulse’ of my inner and outer environment, awake to what I am personally bringing to the table of my life and my relationships, on any given day.

** I am the Karma Yogi. I live intentionally because I regularly practice inner silence, in order to hear and see my own needs and the needs of others. Mindfulness gives me presence of mind, allowing clarity in my actions and harmony in my interactions with my environment.

** Supporting Virtues: Silence, Detachment, Courage, Discernment, Acceptance, Gratitude, Calm

Tips:

1. Start setting goals (realistic and life affirming tasks) each day, regarding your internal ‘mind’ training. It helps you get clear on what it is to be mindful.

2. Buddhists call it mindfulness, Christians or Muslims may refer to it as prayer, Brahma Kumaris call it Raja Yoga Meditation or Soul Consciousness. No matter what it’s called, to practice it means to become part of the bigger solution in the world.

3. Mindfulness keeps you out of trouble because being self aware, won’t allow any negativity to sabotage your own efforts or the efforts of others. It means to not give OR take sorrow.

Questions to churn:

1. Do I regularly stop to ‘smell the roses’? If not, why not?

2. Do I regularly stop to check my own attitude and change it where necessary? If not, why not?

3. Do I notice my own vibration and continually work to raise it, or do I waste time judging the vibration of others?

Being mindful means I pay attention to how my words or gestures can affect others. Knowing through life experience that I only want to give that which I am prepared to accept back, is being mindful. It gives me awareness, acceptance and strength to be loving and kind, even to those I feel may not deserve it. Mindfulness leaves no room for victimisation or finger pointing.

Happy Mindfulness Training, much love Annemarie x
