Power to Face – Part 3…
PowerFace

Hi everyone,

A week back in lovely warm Townsville as life continues to present me with interesting lessons – opportunities in disguise for me to transform myself 🙂

I appreciate being back in the warmth – though the flare up upon leaving Melbourne with the plane trip and change in weather appears to have temporarily aggravated the pain. And though it doesn’t stop me from making effort to increase my natural health regime, I do have to work around it the best way I can – allowing myself plenty of rest. Facing and accepting these timely reminders regarding my decreased mobility gives me determination to keep changing my lifestyle – becoming more mindful of the way I live – the way I think, speak, act, cook, clean, eat, drink, sleep, walk, breathe and exercise, for quality of life.

Always on the look out for interesting therapies to help myself and others, I decided to take another step out of my comfort zone. Just before I left for Melbourne I joined a Hooping class (remember the old hula hoops we played with as kids?). Though I could never keep a hoop up, I thought it would be a fun exercise to try. Playing sport most of my life I had been missing the fun in exercise and frankly don’t enjoy it much these days due to the pain and fatigue factor, so I thought to give Hooping a try…. Awesome – it’s fun, it’s low impact and I LOVE IT!!! It will definitely benefit me in many ways – flexibility, stamina, focus, core strengthening, natural pain relief, coordination, confidence – and most of all, uplifting!

What one thing have you done recently to step out of your comfort zone and have fun?… Make a commitment to yourself – for the month of June step out of your comfort zone at least once (simply take one step – no matter how small or how trivial you think others may view it). Do this for you, no-one else, simply for you – you deserve it 🙂

Thank you for your feedback in regards to advancing with this Group – majority of you have decided to keep going! Congratulations, I look forward to continue our next part of this amazing journey – individually and as a group. If you still want to come along and haven’t yet let me know please do so, otherwise your name will be removed from our list.
Here are your wonderful contributions for the Power to Face…

— Many Faced and accepted where they are at on their journey – with their strengths and their weaknesses… (Fantastic, it takes courage to Face myself honestly)

— Acceptance of own limiting behaviors such as martyrdom and looking for approval. Now have ability to Face it… (Wonderful!)

— Many Faced their own insecurities – behaviors that played out as ‘people pleasing’ – often leading to unrealistic expectations… (Well done, this is great!)

— Several of you Faced letting go of different situations and relationships… (This can be much less painful when we accept 🙂

— Many recognised and Faced own negativities by using different Powers – some used Power to Pack Up, some used Power to Adjust, to Withdraw or to Think Positive – while some used a combination of Powers… (Fantastic that you’re recognising the amazing Power within 🙂

— Several are Facing new situations and learning to deal with them in a calm manner – again accepting what they can and cannot control… (This is so powerful!)

— Facing ‘realities of life’ and accepting them as test papers – while living with the faith that ‘Victory is our Right’… (Yessss!)

— Many of you expressed how using your Powers (in general) has made you stronger and that any of them really work when applied… (Therein lies the guarantee 🙂

— Facing family issues (never an easy situation) – recognition of own past pattern and transforming it as not to allow same situation to repeat… (This is so beautiful, be proud and stand tall in your self respect!)

— Several Faced their own laziness and complacency – understanding that change comes with effort… (Congratulations – a wonderful recognition)

See you all Monday for our last power in this 1st episode of ‘study groups’ relating to our inner power. Remember to let me know if you want to continue on with us…

Lots of Love Annemarie x
