I hope you all had a good weekend and enjoyed practicing the Power of Enthusiasm. I have many favorite powers… the next one I drew is another one of them. I think many of us can benefit from cultivating this power. It helps us to see what is real and what is not, allowing our life to flow smoother and cleaner 🙂

Our 5th Power is the 4th Jewel – Power to Discern – page 37…

‘When I use the Power to Discern,
I can see an authentic deal.
Like a jeweler’s sharp eye,
I know from a distance what is real.
this ability keeps me moving forward,
with great enthusiasm and zeal’

** The Power to Discern is the ability to discern between what is genuine and what is false – to discriminate actual truth from apparent truth – no matter how fantastic the package may appear. It means to be honest and trustworthy, while instantly recognising the intentions of others.
** I am the jeweler… I can pick a fake jewel from a real one, at a distance.
** Supporting Virtues: Trusting, Far-sighted, Clarity, Intuitive, Wise, Simplicity

Tips:
1. When you do anything (new, old, different, repetitive) stop, breathe and ask yourself – what do I really know about this person or situation, step back enough to check their intentions… and yours before moving ahead 🙂
2. Regularly check yourself to ensure you don’t justify any attitude – and check that you are not being deceived by the justifications or ‘reasons’ of others.
3. There’s a fine line between truth and falsehood – discernment knows the difference

Questions to churn:
1. Do you allow others to deceive you?
2. Do you allow yourself to deceive you?
3. Are you honest in all your dealings with the world?
