Hi EveryOne,

How are you going with your Power to be Present? I must admit, though I love being here in Childers I’ve allowed myself to be a bit distracted. I received both good and bad news regarding my health. Good news is – I’ve finally found some natural practitioners who are diligently working to help me heal. According to my latest blood tests, once again I’m told by doctors I’m ‘fine’ – that pain and fatigue is something I have to live if I’m not prepared to take medication (regardless of the side affects). But I ‘know’ my body is not ‘fine’ so investigated further with a Naturopath, Iridologist and Acupuncturist. Bad new… my organs are starting to shut down (far from ‘fine’ right?). Nevertheless, I feel positive that we are here at the right time as I can already feel a slight improvement. Though being chronically fatigued I caught myself reverting to old ‘default’ reactions. I allowed a ‘permanent resident’ here at the caravan park to manipulate and upset me. Fortunately I realised quickly and nipped it in the bud (something I wouldn’t be able to do if I had not been practicing my Powers on a regular basis).

As I’ve mentioned before – I may not always get it right, but continually practicing my powers allows me to catch myself quicker – stopping me from continuing down that slippery slope of life. You see, ’tests’ will come from any angle – it’s part of life, growth and wisdom. So no matter how ill or tired we feel, this Power (and all our powers) are of utmost importance to practice so to not be affected by others. For when I’m distracted, clearly I still allow others to walk through my mind with their dirty feet – even for a little while – which is NOT ok… Lesson: Stay present so pain or fatigue won’t have a hold over me – and neither will others 🙂
