Power to be Present (Revision)

Hi EveryOne,

So just to clarify and for those who don’t remember – my first book Will to Wonder contained ’21 jewels of knowledge’ – one dedicated to each power. The 8 Master Powers together with another 13 Powers (that I felt I needed to learn more about at the time) were ‘studied’ and ‘researched’ and shared. To give my Readers a little more than just the book, I offered this study group as a means to better understand and strengthen ourselves. So as I have done previously, I’ve placed the remainder 13 Powers in a jar and will draw one per month to revise and practice… So once again a huge smile enveloped my face when I saw the Power I drew for September – for me it’s just perfect as I slowly take off again – on the next part of my journey 🙂

Tips:

1. Do the things that are important, not the things that are ‘urgent’.

2. Practice treating others how you would like to be treated. Pay attention and listen – it’s amazing just how much we miss each day.

3. Don’t make promises that you can’t keep. ‘Promises’ are usually made on the spur of the moment filled with ‘meaning’ (at the time). But they are usually guilt driven due to not being present and thus the promise is often broken… When we are present there’s no need to make a ‘promise’, our word is respected because our presence speaks for itself.

Questions to churn:

1. Have I ever driven somewhere but can’t remember how I got there? Do I realise the danger in that?

2.  How often do I forget or misplace something – dates, appointments, time, keys, bag, jumper, sunglasses?

3. Do I compulsively make promises that I can’t keep? Why?

The world needs more presence but the more we move away from our spiritual truth the more disconnected we become. We become the very things we’ve learnt to fear or despise, judge or ridicule because we’re either stuck in some past situation or racing off to the future – without remorse or consideration. The more we meditate on our Self as Spiritual, the more we automatically become present… I have to go now and tend to my body – I need to be present so I can breathe through another painful flare. This power enables me to feel the experience without being negatively affected by it. In other words, though I’m feeling achy and fatigued I still feel great in my mind. I’m aware that it’s been hectic and we’ve moved in leaps in the past week, so now I need to rest. Happy practicing everyone 🙂

Lots of love Annemarie
