Power to be Mindful – Part 2…

Hi EveryOne,

How is this wonderful Power serving you? Is your mind your servant or are you a slave to your own mind? You know, with so much noise in the world, we must start looking within first to check – what noise am I making? This small intention stops us from pointing fingers elsewhere; a wonderful way to start reclaiming our power.

Sound starts in our mind, in the form of thoughts and a thought must be created before I take action. However, here’s the problem … Once we create a thought instead of taking action, we tend to go into too much expansion (over analyse) and start making too much ‘noise’ as we tread into wasteful thinking. Wasteful thinking creates fear and anger and is far from being mindful. Learning to keep my thoughts in their essence form, means to automatically strengthen not only my Power to be Mindful, but also my Power of Silence, my Power to Withdraw, my Power to Pack Up, my Power to Cooperate and my Power to Tolerate (and many others). You see, to be mindful means to recognise and finish the waste thoughts that I create, so I can quieten down my mind and help myself. Sometimes we need to clear the waste first, rather than focus on trying to strengthen a particular Power. Because if we’re busy trying to strengthen a power without reducing any waste in our mind, it’s like fighting a battle uphill. Making effort to reduce the waste in our mind first (check and change) will automatically increase the Power I’m trying to strengthen; a much easier and gentler way to transform myself and to inspire others.

Being mindful, means to practice paying attention through being silent – by choice and as necessary – not under compulsion. Like our Power to be Silent, mindfulness means to be able to filter out – at will – any external noise and quieten down any inner wasteful chatter as a way to communicate effectively. It means to practice self discipline which enables me to hear my own needs and the needs of others, without buying into any rubbish that’s being sold. It is not to be mistaken with the ‘silent treatment’ or subservience, on the contrary, it means to stand empowered and to empower others! To be mind-full means I understand and accept life without resistance, control or justification. It means I feel no need to judge anyone else, regardless how they behave or what they may be saying about me. Even if others are judging me, let me not keep my mind full of their rubbish – this only serves to make me feel empty, hurt, even angry. Worse, still, I start to behave like them and I won’t even see it. Remember, hurt people hurt people! If I don’t find a way to heal myself, I will somewhere along the line, hurt someone else. Cycles continue through justification and rationalisation, unless I make conscious effort to break it. No-one can do this for me, I must do it myself. Sure, others can cheer me on, but I must walk this path alone. But don’t see this as a negative because in fact, it’s very liberating because it keeps my mind full of my own strengths and beauty 🙂

Questions to churn on:

– Do I keep thoughts in their essence form or do I expand into wasteful thinking?

– Do I allow any wasteful thoughts to block me from progressing in my own life?…

– Do I justify any feelings of anger or resentment?…

Lesson:

Any feelings of discomfort I experience within myself is a sign of waste thoughts – my mind has gone into expansion in that particular area and is making ‘noise’. When there are waste thoughts swimming around in my mind, the noise drowns out my ability to stay clear, rational and empowered as I give way to letting others control my mind.
